In the beginning...

There are choices to be made.

Would you take that apple?

Go head to head with God;

dare to open your eyes

in the darkest hours before dawn,

and strain

for the first glimpse

of improbable resurrection hope. 

All true greatness

starts in vulnerability

The baby saved by the flowing waters

and the courageous kindness of a stranger is given, in his turn, power to part the waters and save his people.

Peter walks on water away from his boat towards Jesus.

When storms rage

Do not doubt. 

Do not look down.

The one who, in need, is

nurtured by angels, is strengthened

to become our host as angels sing.

A woman anoints Jesus's feet. His hand is on her head in blessing.

Let them gossip

You did not anoint my head with oil,

but she has anointed my feet with ointment. Luke 7.46

Jesus said to him

Let the gossips talk

You did not put oil on my head, but she poured perfume on my feet.  (Luke 7.44-45)

Simon of Cyrene helps carry Jesus's cross

 As they went out, they came upon a man from Cyrene named Simon;

they compelled this man to carry his cross. Matthew 27.32

Yet the tomb opens

and demeaned

now dances resurrection joy.

 Who cares if they

think we're drunk!

Join the party!

A lamb cuddles up to a lion. The sun and moon overhead.

Go in peace
